Job Description:

A well-established and highly respected law firm in Naples is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing Private Client practice. This is a unique opportunity to work with a sophisticated client base in one of Florida’s most desirable markets, known for its high concentration of high-net-worth individuals and families. The role offers high-quality work, strong client exposure, and the opportunity to play a key role in a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise high-net-worth individuals, retirees, and families on advanced estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax planning
  • Develop and implement sophisticated wealth transfer and asset protection strategies tailored to Florida-based clients
  • Draft complex estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related instruments
  • Oversee and assist with trust and estate administration, including Florida probate proceedings
  • Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on long-term planning matters
  • Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals serving affluent clients
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private client, trusts and estates, or wealth planning
  • Strong experience advising high-net-worth individuals on advanced estate and tax planning matters
  • Excellent drafting and technical skills
  • Working knowledge of Florida probate and trust administration
  • Admission to the Florida Bar (or ability to waive in)
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Admitted in the Florida Bar
  • Ability to manage a varied and sophisticated caseload independently

Desirable:

  • Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Familiarity with multi-state or international estate planning matters
