An established and highly regarded law firm in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing Real Estate team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced paralegal with 10+ years of experience across both commercial and residential real estate, who is confident handling sophisticated transactions and, in particular, complex commercial real estate closings.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys and clients on a broad range of real estate matters, taking an active role throughout the transaction lifecycle and bringing the ability to manage complex closings with a high degree of independence.
The Role
The Real Estate Paralegal will provide comprehensive support across both commercial and residential real estate matters, including:- Managing and supporting real estate transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
- Handling complex commercial real estate closings, including preparation, coordination and execution of closing documentation.
- Supporting acquisitions, dispositions, sales and purchases involving commercial and residential properties.
- Preparing, reviewing and organising purchase and sale agreements, amendments, closing statements and related transaction documents.
- Coordinating and reviewing due diligence materials.
- Reviewing and coordinating title commitments, title policies, surveys, deeds and other property-related documentation.
- Working closely with title companies, lenders, brokers, clients and other third parties.
- Assisting with commercial real estate financing and lender transactions.
- Preparing and maintaining detailed closing checklists and transaction files.
- Coordinating signatures, execution of documents, wire information and closing logistics.
- Preparing and organising closing binders and post-closing documentation.
- Conducting property, corporate and public-record research as required.
- Monitoring transaction deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Communicating directly with clients and third parties throughout transactions.
- Providing proactive support to attorneys while independently managing assigned responsibilities.
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Real Estate Paralegal who can confidently manage a varied workload and operate with a high degree of autonomy.You will ideally have:
- 10+ years of paralegal experience, with substantial experience in Real Estate.
- Strong experience across both commercial and residential real estate transactions.
- Demonstrable experience handling complex commercial real estate closings.
- Strong knowledge of the transaction process from initial due diligence through closing and post-closing.
- Experience with purchases, sales, acquisitions and dispositions.
- Experience working with title commitments, surveys, deeds and closing documentation.
- Exposure to commercial real estate financing and lender requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- Confidence communicating directly with attorneys, clients, title companies, lenders and other professionals.
- The ability to work independently while also being an effective member of a wider legal team.
