Job Description:
A respected and well-established Florida law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join its busy and collaborative team. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment. This role provides critical support to attorneys throughout all stages of personal injury cases, from filing through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Manage case files and documentation from initial filing through trial
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics
- Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court procedures and firm standards
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and organization
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ litigation paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury law
- Strong understanding of Florida state court procedures and e-filing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and manage multiple deadlines efficiently
- Paralegal certification or degree preferred, but not required
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a team
