Litigation Paralegal

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and maintain litigation case files, chronologies, indices, and document databases.
• Support all phases of the discovery process, including document review, redactions, privilege reviews, privilege logs, and production quality control.
• Manage electronic documents using e-discovery and document management platforms.
• Draft legal correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal and factual research, including witness searches and case law research.
• Review and analyze documents, deposition transcripts, and case materials.
• Assist with deposition preparation, including exhibits, witness files, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare motions, briefs, exhibits, and court filings while ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Provide trial support by preparing exhibit binders, witness materials, deposition designations, electronic presentations, and coordinating logistics.
• Work closely with attorneys, litigation support teams, vendors, and clients to ensure matters progress efficiently.
• Assist with the management of large, complex litigation matters and monitor key deadlines throughout the lifecycle of each case.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or comparable legal environment.
• Bachelor's degree or an accredited Paralegal Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and the discovery process.
• Experience using e-discovery, document management, and litigation support software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
