I'm currently working with a highly regarded, full-service law firm in Tampa that is looking to strengthen its Commercial Real Estate team with the addition of an experienced Paralegal. Responsibilities
- Managing commercial real estate transactions and financings from inception through to closing.
- Reviewing title commitments, surveys and resolving title-related issues with title companies.
- Coordinating and undertaking due diligence reviews.
- Preparing closing documentation, including UCC financing statements, closing instruction letters and closing binders
- Drafting deeds, mortgages, financing statements and a variety of commercial real estate documents
- Conducting electronic recordings and official records searches.
- Assisting with the formation of corporations, LLCs and other business entities.
- Liaising directly with clients, lenders, title companies and third parties throughout the transaction process.
Qualifications
- At least five years' experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal within a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of commercial acquisitions, dispositions and finance transactions.
- Experience reviewing title and survey documentation and managing due diligence.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, together with experience using document management systems
