Clayton Legal is pleased to be partnering with a prominent law firm in Orlando that is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its established Real Estate Practice Group.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented paralegal with substantial commercial real estate experience to work on sophisticated transactions within a fast-paced and collaborative legal environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling complex commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, development, and financing transactions. Key responsibilities include:- Preparing and tracking critical transaction dates and deadlines
- Reviewing title commitments, surveys, and title requirements for policy issuance
- Coordinating execution, delivery, and organization of closing documents
- Assisting with commercial real estate acquisitions and sale transactions
- Supporting homebuilder and real estate development matters
- Organizing and maintaining transaction and closing files
- Liaising with clients, title companies, lenders, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm setting
- Thorough knowledge of commercial real estate acquisition and sale transactions
- Experience handling homebuilder representation and real estate development matters preferred
- Strong understanding of title insurance and closing procedures
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment
